This represents one of the boldest moves yet to bring AI to the mainstream and I’m excited at the possibilities.

The company has optimized its AI do a lot of processing “on device,” but if data must go to the cloud, Apple built a distinctly secure system. While not fully decentralized, the measures taken to prevent tampering are robust. The more information we entrust to AI, the more trustworthy it needs to be.
